I am a Sri Lankan Tamil born in the UK. I completed my undergraduate studies at King’s College London and my postgraduate/ doctoral studies at the University of Surrey. I have worked across multiple services including primary, secondary and tertiary care services. These services include North East London Foundation Trust, South West London and St George’s Mental Health, Nafsiyat Intercultural Therapy Centre and Local GP Surgeries. I have worked with people aged 18 – 65 years and completed both short-term and long-term therapy with these clients.
Having worked with a wide range of clinical presentations and clients, I am able to provide an open and confidential space to unpick and understand the difficulties and challenges you bring to the consultation room. This space can be used in multiple ways such as exploring what causes and maintains our problems, how our relationships may impact our problems, where we are in our personal development and managing our coping mechanisms. I endeavour to offer a safe and non-judgemental space to work collaboratively to help reach your goals in therapy.
